This Privacy Policy explains how TodayTodo handles information when you use the TodayTodo mobile app, website, backend sync services, notifications, exports, and MCP features.

Overview
TodayTodo is a task planning and time-based productivity app. You can create tasks, define when they apply, add notes and subtasks, use tags and epics, set reminders, review unfinished work, run timers and Pomodoro sessions, export data, optionally sync data, and optionally connect external tools through MCP.
TodayTodo is designed to keep core task data local on your device unless you sign in, enable sync, request support, use MCP connections, or otherwise use a feature that communicates with our backend or another service.
Information You Provide
- Account information, such as email address, password, name, Apple Sign In information, or Google Sign-In information
- Task data, including task titles, notes, subtasks, dates, schedules, priorities, colors, tags, epics, targets, progress, reviews, timer runs, Pomodoro profiles, reminders, and time logs
- Settings, including theme, work days, notification preferences, reminder settings, sync preference, and MCP warning acceptance
- MCP connection information, such as connection names, authorization choices, scopes, API key metadata, OAuth approval details, expiration dates, and last-used information
- Support messages, password reset requests, account deletion requests, and other messages you send to us
- Exported files that you choose to create or share from your device
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and app information, such as platform, operating system version, app version, and device identifier where available
- Crash reports, handled errors, warnings, diagnostic breadcrumbs, and reliability logs
- Authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in
- Sync status, command history, timestamps, and conflict/error information needed to synchronize data
- Notification permission status and scheduled local notification metadata stored on your device
We do not sell your personal information.
Local Storage, Sync, and Account Data
TodayTodo stores app data locally on your device. If you enable sync or use account features, task data and related records may also be sent to our backend so your data can be backed up and synchronized across devices.
Remote sync data may include commands, task definitions, task todos, reminders, settings, tags, epics, Pomodoro profiles, reviews, date/task statistics, sync settings, and related timestamps.
Authentication and Diagnostics
TodayTodo supports email/password sign-in, Apple Sign In, and Google Sign-In. TodayTodo may use Apple, Google, backend/authentication providers, Sentry, and email providers to operate account, diagnostic, and account-message features.
Sentry may receive crash reports, handled errors, warning messages, diagnostic breadcrumbs, app/device context, operating system information, app version, and a TodayTodo user ID when you are signed in.
Notifications, MCP, Export, and Deletion
TodayTodo uses local notifications for reminders, review prompts, countdown timers, and Pomodoro alerts. Notifications require device permission and can be disabled.
MCP connections allow external tools to interact with your TodayTodo task data when you approve access. You can list and delete MCP connections in the app. External tools and MCP clients may have their own terms and privacy policies.
TodayTodo can export task details and task insights as CSV or Markdown files through your device share sheet.
TodayTodo provides options to reset device data, delete remote app data where available, request account deletion, immediately delete after a pending deletion request, and cancel a pending account deletion request. Deletion may be subject to processing time, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security checks, and backup retention.
